Licensed Trainers
In conducting clinical practica, UURC staff members have the privilege of working with a number of exemplary educators. Some of these educators hold positions that lend themselves to becoming a UURC licensed trainer.
An educator who is invited to intern for licensure in a UURC basic intervention model will be asked to complete several types of professional development, including but not limited to conducting lessons in that model for observation, attending and assisting with a practicum in that model, and attending the annual UURC Trainer Retreat. Satisfactory completion of these professional development experiences will lead to licensure in a specific UURC basic intervention model.
The license fee is $50 for 5 years.
Note: UURC Licensed Trainers hold licensure in specific UURC basic intervention models. Only Licensed Trainers are allowed to conduct training in UURC basic intervention models. As such, individuals who hold UURC certification may not conduct training. Training without a UURC Trainer license is a violation of UURC service mark rights.
