To Whom it May Concern,

The Utah State Board of Education (USBE) Literacy Team in conjunction with the University of Utah Reading Clinic (UURC) personnel met to discuss the review of the services and resources (UURC Intervention Models) provided by the UURC. It has been determined that UURC provides professional learning, coaching supports, and resources that would need to be vetted by LEAs to ensure that it aligns with their literacy intervention model as defined in SB-127.

Together, it was determined that the UURC Intervention Models are not an intervention curriculum. Due to this, they have been removed from USBE reviewed curriculum list and removed from Recommended Instructional Materials System (RIMS).
