Katy Bowler

Katy Bowler graduated from the University of Utah with a B.S. in Human Development and Family Studies with a minor in Psychology. She spent the majority of her college years working with children who had developmental delays. Before joining the UURC, Katy served as an interventionist in Bluffdale, where she worked with K-3 students in reading intervention. Her passion for supporting students in reading led her to pursue this career further. Katy is trained in Orton-Gillingham and certified in the Early Steps℠, Next Steps℠, and Higher Steps℠ models. She is currently working toward certification as a WRS Level I Certified Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner and is thrilled to be part of the UURC team.
