Karla Padilla-Amador

Karla Padilla-Amador is certified in the Early Steps℠, Next Steps℠, and Higher Steps℠ intervention models. She became a WRS Level I Certified Wilson® Dyslexia Practitioner in 2017. Karla was our first specialist to work with students via technology from our Distance Lab. Karla began learning English when she entered Kindergarten and was a struggling reader herself for several years. Educators trained at the UURC helped Karla become academically successful. These experiences have motivated her to help others overcome similar struggles. She is thrilled to continue her journey at the University of Utah Reading Clinic.
